About your question: it really doesn't matter, only make sure the wax is not silicone based!

I´am using this one: http://cisticiprostredky-ekogrado.cz/hartwachs-p-1443.html . Sorry for czech pages, but the picture maybe help you ... :-) This vax is silicone free and cheeper than for example 3M products ....

well, I already bought this one menzerna #18
I got it from aerospool(aircraft/glider factory)
