ASW-B Aileron Stiffness

Hi,
Can anyone assist me with an aileron problem on my ASW15B. I recently purchased the aircraft and have had several flights and the controls were akin to the old K8. Now however the aileron control is extremely stiff when on the ground and flying is very difficult until I have been airborne about 10 minutes after which the control is more or less normal. I suspect that temperature contraction brings about the easing. When examined it can bee seen that the gap between aileron and wing is taken up ( as if the aileron had swollen!). I can see an easy solution but my concern is what has caused the problem.
Has anyone come across this before and if they have what was the permanent solution?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Dennis,

Welcome at the ASW15 forum.

I experienced the same thing you described suddenly at  higher temperatures. I didn't find a real cause.
I sanded between the aileron an the wing and it is solved for now.
