ASW 15 panel
« on: 30 October 2006, 19:42 »
Hi everyone!

I just saw an ASW 15B which - instead of the normal 'covered' instrument panel, where people 'outside' cannot see the pilots feets on the Rudder pedals - had a "freestanding" instrument column not quite unlike what You find in the DG gliders.

Does enyone know why this kind of panel was used, and in which '15's they were used. Were they mounted from the factory, or something done by the owner?

Thanks a lot in advance for Your reply.. :-)
