hi all! in austria we have to have an ELT in gliders when we leave the field. does anybody have advice on where to mount one? where do you, in case you have an ELT in your ASW 15, have yours? a photo would be highly appreciated.  greetings martin

Hi

Best to have a mobile one and keep it attached to you - a pouch on the parachute harness, for example, or strapped to your leg. There are some quite compact ELTs around. If you have to jump, better they find YOU than the wreckage of the glider in the next valley! Especially true in the  mountains, which I guess is where you fly - Austria not famous for being flat!
