handicapping

Club class is getting very popular in the UK, but I’ve noticed that the 15 doesn't appear very often. Then dominant glider seems to be the standard Cirrus, which (in the UK) has a handicap one point higher than the 15.

I haven't had a chance to compete in the 15 yet (planned for this season) - how does it compare under competition conditions with, say, the standard Cirrus or the standard Libelle (which has the same handicap as the 15), or the other commonly used club class gliders? Is the 15s handicap slightly unfair, or is it simply that no-one has used one here in the UK very much?

Cheers

Chris
