Do the aliron hinge pins on ASW 15 needed to be rivited in or are they alright on there own?

From a (uk) C of A point of view, yes they need to be re-provided. All though at the moment we're trying to remove the aileron hinge pins on an ASW15(b) with the rivets removed and not having a lot of luck on getting the pins out. I'd be really grateful for any tips on how you did it. :S

My 15 is an 'a' with a retractable undercarrage I got the pins out by
drilling the pop rivets out and then used a allen or hex key to push the pin out by gentle hitting the allen key with a hammer.

there was only one a with a fixed gear.
And this was the prototype.
Additional PIK20E. Think positive, flaps negative.
