In the German Aerokurier 2/97 was made a comparative test between
the ASW 15 and the Standard Cirrus.
I have a copy of that magazine, but would like to keep it.
If you give up your address, I can sent you a copy of that article.

I'd love to read that comparison. We have three ASW15s and three Cirruses in the club (Cape Gliding Club, South Africa) and there's always some gentle ribbing about whose got the better glider. (I fly an ASW15)

I have the article here but I can't publish it here because of copyright reasons.

The article is more about the asw15 and the cirrus as planes of the same genaration.  But there is also a small comparison in it.  To go short the asw15 is a slightly better climber and the cirrus is better in higher speeds.
