Maintenance bearings main wheel
« on: 11 August 2022, 18:10 »
Has anyone experience with exchanging the main wheel bearings or lubricating the bearings, is it possible, what type number of bearings needed. Our glider wheel makes some strange noise.  Thanks for reply Gilles

Hi, Gilles
I replaced my main wheel bearings and they were sealed bearings (one on each side) sorry can't remember the size.

HI

The main wheel and brake components are standard TOST items. The bearings may also be obtained locally. Make sure the axle nuts are not loose as this may be the reason for the odd noises - Or the mechanism needs cleaning?
