Just became joint owner of a balsa ASW 15

I am Henry Swayze of Tunbridge Vermont going under VTHenry.  I have been flying Post Mills Soaring club planes, 2-33, 1-23 and Blanik L-13.  Only just over 100 flights on my log.  I have not yet brought the plane to the airport due to winter hanging in very late.
I am 6'4" so with seat pan in the plane I only have 1 1/2" of head room with out a shoot.  I am OK about no shoot but would not mind a bit more head space.  Any one have experience with flying with out the seat pan?
Anyone have a sense of the glide ratio of this plane with full air breaks on?  Trying to sense how it compares with a 1-23.  Also is it forgiving about changing the air breaks setting on final?

Hi Henry,

Surprised no one has responded. I came looking for the 2 meters/sec sink rate to program my flight computer. You're big for the ASW 15 but should be fine. I have an A but I think the airbrakes are the same. You'll have very good sink rate with full air brakes. I never have to use them very long on full out. The ship doesn't change pitch when you apply or retract the air brakes. Good luck with the 2018 season.
