I join the club!
« on: 22 November 2014, 20:44 »
I'm so glad I can join this club of ASW15-owners. 8)  Let me start by introducing myself: before I flew RC gliders and I wanted to experience the feeling in a thermal myself so in 2007 I started to fly 'real' gliders. I fly in EBTN - Goetsenhoven in Belgium.  As a flight instructor I train our young pilot on ASK13 and SF34. Until now I flew our club gliders ASK 23, Jeans Astir and ASW 19.  Now I got the fantasic opportunity to buy an ASW 15 ...
Two weeks ago my very own ASW15 (sn 15108 / OO-YYV) arrived at our club.  I bought it from our head of training, where it was in the trailer the last year.  Today I installed the revised altimeter and new belts.  I've never flown it before, but I've read all your enthousiastic experiences on this portal that I was convinced I made the right decision.  The glider is still in perfect shape, so as for me ... the new glider season can start! Until then, all your advice is welcome!
