Hi all,

I´m looking for a 15 used canopy in good order. Other options or tips are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Did you get a canopy?

I have made a mold and will be making one for myself. I bought one from Todds in florida, but it does not fit.

I might make some extras.

Steve,

It may be too late now, but the canopy from Todd works fine if you are willing to spend a lot of time cutting it down to size to fit the canopy frame. The other issue with Todd's canopy is cutting out the window. It takes a lot of time and a steady hand but the outcome can be very good and at a very reasonable price.

Hi Rick,

I have an extra 15B canopy that I might part with for the right price.  One small crack stopped in the late 80's.  Needs to be polished...

Let me know,

John

I stand corrected on my "Todds" Canopy

After making a new frame it did not look like the bubble that Todd sent last year was going to conform to the frame. After cutting it about an inch too big for the frame it got real flexible.

My new canopy is going to come out perfect.
The kevlar and carbon fiber frame is now the strongest part of my glider.

I still need a window.

Is the Mecaflex unit the best way to go???

I used my old window, which was still in good shape. It looks exactly like the Mecaplex vent window with vent scoop on Wings and Wheels. I did buy new the new Mecaplex guide rails and they were an exact match for the old rails.

Congratulations on your new canopy and frame!

Hi Steve,

sorry for my late response, in the end, we bought a new canopy to Mecaplex and it has already been installed.
I have the vent window with vent scoop  of my old canopy, if you are interested let me know.
