New owner of G-CFJV

Hello

I just bought ASW15 SerNo 15109 BGA 3306 G-CFJV. Only flown it once so far but did get  to 10,500 feet in wave at Border Gliding club. I was hoping to fly again this weekend but the weather was poor.

I have been flying gliders on and off since 1981 and once owned a Jantar 2. Also did a lot of hanggliding and have a power licence that is very unused now. The glider is also going to be used by my son once he gets an aerotow ticket and a few more solo hours.

Anyway hoping to get a few more hours under my belt in the ASW and maybe even finish my Gold C. I am planning to visit a few gliding clubs around the UK this year as well.

The forum is great and I am sure I will have plenty of technical questions over the coming months.

Welcome Adrian, what a great start with your 15, isn't it?

I own n. 15106, equipped only with the off-center tow-hook: is yours the same?

Have nice flights and enjoy this beautiul and useful forum

Yes my glider only has the offset hook. That, along with the all flying elevator, is why my son can't fly it just yet - needs just that little bit more experience on launch. Anyway I am hoping that the weather gets better soon and I can find out more about the glider.
