Airbrakes self-deploying on aerotow

I had an unhappy time yesterday whilst being towed in level flight as the airbrakes kept popping open by themselves. I was doing about 75 kts at the time, so its bad news in terms of the stress it could put on the wings. Usually it takes a reasonable effort to lock the airbrakes, and I think this is still the case. It will go into the workshop before I fly it again, but in the meantime has anyone heard of this happening before?

short update - a workshop inspection has revealed nothing untoward - there was a slight adjustment required to improve the symmetry of opening/closing and that is all. The one thing I did note was that it takes very much less force to open the airbrakes than to close them. It takes a positive effort to shut the brakes, but I can crack them open with my little finger. I'd really like to know from other ASW15 pilots whether this is the same in other cases.
