does anybody know the (UK) name or number of 'asw red' - need to repaint rudder and wingtips

Don't know any especially "UK-colour-scales", but since it is a german produktion they used the RAL-scale.
Have a look at this magazine article of the Graupner/Mibo RC-models test.

The author sais he mailed the question to Schleicher and got friendly answer.

It is RAL 2003 "pastellorange".

(a typical pop-colour of the seventies... I mixed it for my scale model with two thirds of the darker and more red RAL 2002)
