undercarriage doors
« on: 04 June 2012, 18:34 »
have replaced broken bulkhead and am now repairing hole in underside  :) will shortly need to make new undercarriage doors, on my glider they are made of aluminium and badly damaged. is aluminium or glassfibre the norm?

Gill,

I have a set of doos.

Well ok, most 15 owners do but I have two: one fitted/flying and one spare. Both GRFP ;-) Not prepared to let the spare one go, however I could borrow them out to s.o. so he can take a mold.

Let me know,
Dirk

Thanks for that kind offer, will certainly let you know if need to take you up on it  :)
I believe that we will be able to take moulds from glider/old doors, so am looking forward to more learning
wherever you fly your 15 i hope your weather has been kinder than ours

regards
Gill
