diameter of wing pins (spiggots?)
« on: 07 May 2012, 05:53 »
Hi.
can someone please tell me the diameter of the pins which fix the wing root (i.e. those that are attached to the fuselage and enter the wing root rib)? I would  like to make some protective covers for mine, but the glider and trailer are about 100 miles away.
thanks,
niv
p.s we've recently bought N18CF - i'll probably write a short note introducing us once i actually fly it:)

thanks for the replies, but i think something got mixed up ; i didn't mean the main pins but rather the ones that stick out of the side of the fuselage (and are permanently attached to it); just so that someone else can find this in the future - i measured mine last weekend at 16mm diameter.
