D-8644
« on: 12 May 2013, 10:24 »
Hi there,
The D-8644 was built in 1975 and was in private hand until 2009. Then the Owner gave it to our Soaring Club (he is also member and sometimes pilot of the D-8644) and now i'm in charge to this beautiful plane and have spend a lot of time in fitting, restoring (next time i will post some pics of the cockpit and the panel - unbelievable!) and flying!
I have started soaring in 2007 in the age of 41 as an birthdaypresent to myself ;-) and have checked out ASK13, K6CR, K6E, JEANSASTIR and some marvelous flights in the Alps in a DG1000 with my personal PIC Sven (thanks Sven!).
ASW15 is something special - and ASW15 Pilots also. More puristic and sophisticated ;-).
So it's logic to join the Un-Official-ASW15 Portal and meet you here - although i'm not the owner of this pretty thing - but the pilot.
See you
tom
