Rather than waste everyone's time with yet more words, I'm going to post the remaining photos of 15 Delta Charlie before getting into the restoration process.  After I removed several fiberglass panels from the cockpit area, I was better able to see what was going on inside the fuselage.  Other than being a littel dirty and dusty, it doesn't look too bad.  All the lube pionts on the landing gear are dry, but it still goes up and down without much effort.

As I mentioned, the lube points in the gear linkage are dry.  The tire is dry rotted, the brake linkage is rusty and in need of attention and the the whole assembly looks like an apartment building for spiders.  The gear door bungees are absolutely brittle.  Apparently, the glider was stored with the gear down.
