Elevator pin
« on: 02 August 2011, 20:33 »
My inspector is concerned about a little vertical free play on my elevator.  The cause may be wear on the pin that locates the left elevator inside the right.  The pin is perfectly round and has a diameter of 11.9mm.  The bush inside the left elevator has an id of 12.6mm and is slightly oval.  I believe that Schleicher can provide an oversize pin.  Is this an issue and can the bush be removed for repair ?

Hi Alan,

Your inspector should contact Schleicher for the tolerances on this matter.
