Hello!
Since I'm new to the community, I thought I'd present myself.
I have been flying for two years as a student. I just spent the last year learning XC and competitionflying while "waiting to age" for the certificate. I was born, live and now fly right next to Bergen in western Norway. My homefield is called "Vaksinen" and is located at "Ulven" next to "Os."
As said, I have, thanks to my awsome instructors, been able to get some XC and competition excperience as a gliderpilot. I'm soon ready to try and fail on my own. I tend to do this in the coming season by using an ASW15 one of my instructor and friend so kindly lets me borrow.
My excpectations are now high to this glider. As it turns out this baby has it's own community, the ASW15 is probably a very good and charming glider. Thats also what everyone I know say.
I hope I might find some useful information about the 15' here. I also tend to share my excperiences when spring arrives. I have already planned to make som videos of my progress learning XC during the coming spring and summer. You'll find these
videos here(theres only 1 video so far).
Some of you might know
"Hypoixa Film". He's a good friend of mine and makes fantastic glidingmovies. I highly recommend his last movie to this community. It contains two ASW15's flying over the mountains of western Norway.
You'll find that movie posted below. His channel is to be found
here for more great clips and movies!
Some of you might know me from the "Condor Community" as the organizer of MNS competition were I fly as "K3". It's really great that this simulator now contains an ASW15. I'd love for someone here to tell me how the ASW15 in Condor behaves compared to the real world. I tend to fly the asw15 for long competitionflighs in the sim each weekend for practice.
Best Regards
