aerotow hook
« on: 05 December 2010, 16:17 »
I am shopping for an ASW 15 and found one with a CG hook only.  Can anyone tell me where to find drawings and specs for installing a forward aerotow hook.  I believe that this is an approved option for the 15 and most US planes have them, but I cannot find this option at the Schleicher website downloads.  Any help would be appreciated. Henry

Did you check with Eastern Sailplanes 513.897.5667?  They're the US Schleicher dealer and certified repair center.  I understand a call to John Murray can answer a lot of your ASW-15 questions.  In fact I believe he repaired the "535 lb. glider" once....
